Every correction is a revision, not a rewrite
When something needs to change after a report is published, InspectSOP marks it as a numbered, dated revision on the same link your client already has. Nothing changes quietly.
- A dated “Rev 2” banner appears on the report and the PDF the moment a correction is published.
- The date the report first went out is locked the first time you publish, and never moves, no matter how many corrections follow.
- Every earlier version is kept exactly as it was, and nobody can change it. Nothing is quietly overwritten or deleted.
- Your client sees a plain list of what changed between one version and the next, not just that something did.
Not even the company that owns the report can quietly edit the record
The revision date and badge are not just something drawn on the screen. They are locked where the record itself lives, so an attempt to edit them directly is refused, no matter who makes it.
- A revision date cannot be backdated, and a badge cannot be removed after the fact.
- When you publish a correction, the version before it is sealed and stamped so it can be checked later. Nobody can rewrite history and have it go unnoticed.
- The report an agent or lender read last month is either the same report they open today, or it tells them exactly what changed and when.
